Vintage Weston 155 AC Voltmeter in wooden case Pat. 1895 Museum quality

Description

Weston model 155 AC Voltmeter in excellent condition.  It is very well preserved with excellent wood finish, brass tag and original hardware. Leather carry strap is still intact.  This is an early model with patent dates if 1898 and 1895.
This came from a private collection and has been stored in a protective sleeve for many years.  Functions have not been tested but the needle isn't frozen.

From the estate of a silent key in Eastern Washington. As Is-As-Found. Unknown working condition
I was told by a prospective buyer that this does not have the patent mark which 1901 and later meters had, so this is likely pre-1900
Pictures clearly describe this vintage item that is at least 118 years old. It come in the original wooden box/case with a calibration sticker dated 1904! The glass in intact and the leather handle on the case is still present. This is a heavy piece made of wood and brass. Hopefully this will be a beautiful display piece for your radio room! I wish this could talk, imagine the stories it must have!
