Tycos recording thermometer produced by Taylor Instrument Company from patents approved around 1913. The piece is in a black metal case, and has a glass window that opens to the mechanical components inside.
Measurements:
The thermometer measures approximately 11 1/2" X 14 1/8" X 3 3/4".
Condition:
The piece is in fair condition, with a considerable amount of weathering from age and usage. The black paint is chipping in several areas across the body of the piece and there are minor scuffs and scratches on the glass. The interior components appear to be aged, and it is unknown whether or not this device functions properly or not. Please see the photographs below for a more detailed depiction of the condition of this item.
