Vintage A&H truck driver safety award pin/tack

Vintage A&H truck driver safety award tack/pin. It is 3/4 of an inch tall and 7/8th of an inch wide. I'm not sure what the dark gold tone metal is. The fastener is from O.C. Tanner Co. in Salt Lake City. I love the detail on this piece.
