This is a Rare Vintage 1945 WWII Era Wheelco Portable Potentiometer Cased Scientific Instrument Meter in Locking Oak Wood Case with Key and Instructions, Made by The Wheelco Instrument Company Chicago ILL USA. This Measures approx. 9" x 8 1/2" x 5", Sold Untested. This is in Good Original Condition, What You See Pictured is What is Included. Don't Pass this one up, Estate Fresh, Sold As Found! 9.99 Please email with any questions. Antique Victorian era easel-back desk thermometer11 1/2" by 3 3/4". Working glass thermometer is set onto a brass plaque with Fahrenheit and Reaumur  markings. The brass plate is framed with a heavily cast, pierced brass casting with a pedestal beneath and an arrangement of fruit above the thermometer, set within a trellis of brass and mounted on a wooden form covered in a deep red velvet. On the back is a hammered and twisted wire stand that supports the thermometer securely. The wire stand is a later addition, replacing the missing original. Gorgeous piece from a fine Georgia estate.
