Portable Gaiffe mercury turbine interrupter for a small X ray coil. It is self contained by having the impulse motor windings on top of the unit to rotate the turbine. There is a separate sets of turbine contacts inside the pot to drive the windings.
One gas cock is broken at its stem  and both pieces are there and can be repaired by a good jeweler and re threaded.
Very rare item and complete!
Offered is the Trumbull Battery Switch.  This one is a porcelain base type with copper conductors and electrodes.  All wiring screws are in place.  The little bakelite handle is also in place-it appears original.  This one is a DPDT type.  It is in very good condition with only a chip or two on the bottom. Patent date is as follows:  May 18, 1909. 3 3/4 X 2 3/4 inches in size and about 3/4 inches in thickness. Mounting holes are at 2 inches on center. These old switches are seldom offered in this nice condition, they are usually all chipped up or missing parts.  Grab this one for your own radio work or collection. NO RESERVE!! Thanks for looking.
