    Roto Grip Halo Pearl
The Roto Grip Halo Pearl is the perfect compliment to the original Halo bowling ball. This ball utilizes the same proven Centrum Core that was introduced with the Halo but a completely different coverstock. This ball is wrapped in the eTrax-P18 Pearl Reactive coverstock causing it to move at a different part of the lane. This ball offers a footprint in oil while still producing a responsive reaction to friction when lane conditions are medium to medium/heavy oil.

    Blast from the Past
1987 Model with Pin Opposite Label
In the old days when Columbia ruled, their balls were called White Dot, Blue Dot, Yellow Dot, etc. where the DOT was designed
to be at the CG and the label centered around the DOT but the actual CG was often not at the center of the DOT and drillers
finding the true CG on their own.  Labels then evolved to having them centered on the CG, with the CG marked with a simple punch.
and called simply Pin IN or pin OUT which further evolved into Pin Distance.
At least one manufacturer came up with the idea, for symmetric balls, to place the pin on the opposite side of the ball so the
label position, centered on the CG, would not be cosmetically marred with a pin in the label.
