Old Ceramic Base Knife Switch W/ Capacitors(?). A Steampunk Must Have!!!

Description

I have no idea what this double knife switch was used for unless it was some sort of test, or educational unit since there are what appears to be a type of low value capacitor, with 2 thick plates with a mica insulator between the plates, (pic 3) on each side.
In any event, it will make a great component for your next steampunk contraption!
Thanks to ebay/PayPal's current policies regarding returns, we will no longer sell most items as working, but rather "officially" as parts, not working. Gunter's Calculating Rule
Nice example of a Gunter's Rule, 24" long, and with a fine patina. The rule has a variety of scales as shown in my photos, with little brass "pips" to protect the wood when the rule is being used with dividers. All scales are perfectly legible and I note only a small chip to one edge as (see the 2nd photo).
