MODEL 1825 BAVARIAN OFFICERS SHAKO
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL AND RARE MODEL 1825 BAVARIAN OFFICERS SHAKO DURING THE REIGN OF LUDWIG 1
ST
OF BAVARIA 1825 – 1848. THE SHAKO IS IN UNTOUCHED CONDITION. THE BLACK LEATHER SHAKO MEASURES 7-1/2 INCHES HIGH. THE SUNKEN CROWN IS MADE OF BLACK LEATHER AND MEASURES 11 INCHES IN DIAMETER. THE BLACK LEATHER AND BLACK FLOCK MATERIAL ON THE HELMET SIDES IS WORN AND THE CHIN STRAP AND CHIN STRAP BUTTONS ARE MISSING. THE LARGE HELMETE PLATE IS SILVER WITH A GOLD WREATH AROUND THE BOTTOM AND SIDES AND THE BAVARIAN CROWN ON THE TOP.
THERE IS WHAT LOOKS TO BE A CROSSED SWORD WITH ANOTHER TYPE OF WEAPON ON THE FRONT OF THE PLATE

THERE IS A COCKADE IN THE CENTER OF THE HELMETE ABOUT THE HELMETE PLATE. THE INTERIOR IS WORN AS IS THE BROWN LEATHER SWEATBAND. PLEASE E-MAIL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
