These US Military Survival Kits are getting harder and harder to find compete and sealed.  They were primarily issued to the US Marine Corps, but I remember seeing them as a Combat Engineer in the US Army in the mid-90's through gear swaps and trade.
This kit is in near mint, new in packaging, sealed condition.  The Side "A" has still retained the original vacuum seal, but Side "B" has a little more squeeze to the packaging.  Really of no matter, as there are no perishable items in the kit....just want to fully disclose the condition of the outer packaging.  On the inside, each side will have another clear plastic sealed pouch, with all of the labels for the items included.  The original intent of the kit design was to breakdown the kit into halves and place them in the thigh cargo pockets of your uniform.  This is a really impressive and well thought out survival kit, and of high collectible value!
Here's a breakdown of what the Survival Kit includes:
SIDE "A"
Saw, Finger Ring
:  This should include two robust finger handles with set screw thumb tabs to hold the wire saw in place.  It also comes with an extra wire saw blade.  This design is among the best ever, and the finger handle design allows for remounting the blade if one breaks.  Very unique.

Ziplock Bag for storing the contents after opening
Survival Blanket, OD
Fishing Kit, Emergency:
This is a very comprehensive fishing kit that is packaging in a metal tin with a slip fit lid, and taped with military '100 MPH' tape.  Contains hooks, sinkers, multiple spools of fishing line, spoons, lures, repair pins, needles, and even more.  These fishing kits are also getting hard to find.
SIDE "B"
Knife, Pocket:
This knife is the much sought after Camillus "US" Pocket Knife.  No longer manufactured and in great demand by collectors.  Extremely well built and sturdy folding pocket knife with main blade, can opener, bottle opener, flat tip screwdriver, and an awl.
Signalling Mirror:
The mirror should be covered with a protective film and it has a sighting hole for accuracy.
Whistle, Extreme Cold:
This whistle is pealess, and looks very much like the  modern slim rescue howler from AMK/SOL.  Always works and can't freeze up
Compass, Smoke Chaser:
This is another highly regarded piece of kit.  NOT your usual survival kit button compass...this is a trade name, full baseplate orienteering compass that is built to last.
Fire Starter, Magnesium:
This is usually the higher quality Doan Brand magnesium bar with the integral ferrocerium striker bar built into the design.  Scrape the magnesium block side with your knife to create shavings, and ignite with the ferro rod.
Plastic Bag:
For storing the gear after the contents are opened.
Water Bag, Drinking:
This is the heavy duty 'gourd' shaped water bag that has a fold-over closure design with a buckle that secures the closure.  Also has a belt loop or gear mount tab for securing the water bag to your person.  Very thick and robust!
Matches:
This should be a box of wooden 'hurricane' matches that will offer a long burn at very high temperatures for getting stubborn tinder to catch.
