This is a 1920s real photo postcard depicting Chief Follow-the-Road and His Wife. He was chief of the Lakota Tribe. They are posed in full native garb with headdress and feathered staff. This is not a studio photo, but it is still posed. Stamped on the back “The Art Foto Co” Mandan North Dakota. SSSS stamp box (1924-29). Unposted and in very good condition. See the scans.
