Please have a look at all of my current listings.  They are part of my 50 plus years of collecting to be listed (as time permits) over the coming weeks and months.  My collection includes Antique items such as Scientific Instruments, Radios, Bottles, Barometers, Surveying Instruments, Prohibition (and Pre-Prohibition) Whiskey, Art, Books, etc.  I have fully packed storage boxes full of wonderful things that need to see the light of day once more.  I simply do not have the room anymore (just ask my wife).  It is really hard to part with my "treasures" but I find comfort knowing that they will be cared for by the new owners.  Let me know if you have any specific needs and I will try to list them.  ENJOY!!!
Original 1940's Sperry desktop display gyroscope.  These were given away to company executives and such to help drum up business.  Well made and heavy thing for sure.  Condition is good for its age with some paint loss as seen in the photos.  All three axles spin freely.  One of the four lock nuts is a replacement as can be seen in photos.  Sperry logo stamped into the base.  When wound with a string and pulled it spins well for a long time.  However it does not go into gyro motion (all three axles).  Since all three spin freely I am not sure why.  May be a bit out of balance or something like that.  Simply a display item for me.  New owner can play with it and figure it out.
Sold as is.  Return only if not as described and shown in photos.  No Overseas/International shipping at this time.  I am still fully employed and overseas shipping consumes too much time and can create issues.  Shipping quote for lower 48 states only as others will be more.  Many Thanks.
