I don't have a way to arrange for a local pick-up of this item, I'm sorry for the inconvenience The Astrolabe is an  early multifunctional scientific
    instrument used in navigation,
    astronomy and determining time.
Considerable information concerning the use and the various functions of the astrolabe may be found on the Internet.
This instrument is  thought to be Persian and is offered as possible 19th early 20th century . There is considerable wear and patina present which appears age appropriate. The piece has 4 disks which  are engraved on both sides. The actual use of the piece is unknown by me.
I have taken many photos of the
Instrument. Happy to answer any questions about the instrument.
