C-1930 Vintage Miller-Cowan Dynamo Electric Machine Conditional Issue.Leg is broken near foot on magnet side. Please look at 2 up close photographs of this. The tag is missing but looks identical to the Miller-Cowan Dynamo Electric Machine made around 1930. Alternator, generator, vintage scientific apparatus. Weighs approximately 12 1/2 lbs. Not counting wood base 8” tall, 10 1/2” long, 7” wide. Counting wood base : 8 3/4” tall, 13” long, 9” wide. In spite of the leg that is broken, it displays well. There is rust and tarnish at places. The painted surface is scratched and worn at places. Needs a good cleaning. Crank turns freely. Untested, “as is.” This is being sold for its collectors value not for its functionality. Smoke free. Nice old set. Beautiful 14" thermometer with French wax date or tax seal of some kind. Etched glass beaker, extra burner wicks, some rust tweezers. Hard to find in cased set, latches work.  All DS original items. Imported by Avis importers. Some stains on bottom stand and burner, but pretty nice. Thanks for looking.
