JIM CROW LAWS
Jim Crow laws were state and local laws that enforced racial segregation in the Southern United States. These laws were enacted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by white Southern Democrat-dominated state legislatures to disenfranchise and remove political and economic gains made by black people during the Reconstruction period. Jim Crow laws were enforced until 1965.
As a body of law, Jim Crow institutionalized economic, educational, and social disadvantages for African Americans living in the South.
RETURN POLICY:
UP TO 14 DAYS TO FIGURE OUT IF YOU WANT IT, DURING THAT TIME, RETURNS WELCOME WITHOUT QUESTION, BUT I DO APPRECIATE YOU LETTING ME KNOW IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH PHOTOS, AD, OR DESCRIPTION SO I CAN CORRECT IT ON
MY END.
YOU CAN GO THROUGH “RETURN ITEM” ON EBAY OR JUST SEND ME A MESSAGE.
I PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING ON DOMESTIC ORDERS, BUT CAN’T DO SO ON INTERNATIONAL RETURN POSTAGE.
MY PROFIT MARGIN IS SO LOW THAT PAYING POSTAGE ON INTERNATIONAL RETURNS WIPES OUT ANYTHING I EARN ON THAT ITEM AND THE NEXT SEVERAL I SELL.
ALSO, THERE IS A GROUP OF BUYERS THAT HAVE DISCOVERED THAT SELLERS WILL REFUND MONEY RATHER THAN PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING, AND QUITE AN OPERATION HAS DEVELOPED AROUND THIS.
LET ME KNOW THOUGH, AND THERE IS USUALLY SOME WAY I MAKE IT FAIR FOR YOU.
CERTAINLY ANY ERROR ON MY PART,
I WILL MAKE RIGHT.
THERE ARE MANY OTHER PROBLEMS I CAN MAKE RIGHT AND WILL DO SO.
I BELIEVE IN SALES OVER THE INTERNET BEING EASILY RETURNABLE WITHOUT ADDED EXPENSE, BUT POSTAGE PRICES AND ABUSE MAKES ME UNABLE TO SAY I WILL PAY FOR RETURN IN EVERY CASE.
ITEMS NOT RECEIVED:
JUST LET ME KNOW, OR CHECK “ITEM NOT RECEIVED” ON EBAY, AND THERE ARE STEPS WE WALK THROUGH TO FIND IT.
ALTHOUGH MY POST OFFICE WILL ON OCCASION NOT SCAN THE TRACKING NUMBER, OR LOSE THE ITEM, I WILL TAKE THE HIT FOR THOSE.
FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS, I WILL REFUND AMOUNT FOR LOST ITEMS UP TO THE POINT THE TRACKING SHOWS THEY LEAVE THE COUNTRY, THEN YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PACKAGE AFTER THAT.
IF YOU LIVE IN A WHERE NO PACKAGES ARE EVER DELIVERED AND ARE STOLEN OR LOST,
YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU ORDER SOMETHING.
I WILL PAY FOR RETURNS THOUGH, BECAUSE I’M JUST THAT KIND OF GUY.
BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK:
I have taken a lot of time and effort in putting together my
listings for each of my
products. Most of my orders, if not all,
go out the next
business day after I receive your order. If there is any discrepancy with the description or information in my listings, please contact me
immediately. We do appreciate any information you could give us to better our description, shipping and delivery.
PLEASE, PLEASE, REALIZE THAT NEGATIVE AND NEUTRAL FEEDBACK CARRIES A GREAT DEAL OF WEIGHT AND CAN CAUSE ALL KINDS OF PROBLEMS FOR THE SELLER.
IF I DESERVE A BAD FEEDBACK, I EMBRACE YOUR HONESTY, AND LEAVING A NEGATIVE OR NEUTRAL FEEDBACK IS SOMETHING YOU NEED TO DO.
I TURN FLIPS TO MAKE BUYERS HAPPY, SO IF THERE IS A PROBLEM, JUST LET ME KNOW AND I’LL MAKE IT RIGHT.
I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO LOOK AT ITEMS IN PERSON AND SEND BACK IF THEY DON’T LIKE THEM
COMBINED SHIPPING?
ABSOLUTELY.
PAY FOR SHIPPING ONCE, AND I’LL TRY TO WORK OUT THE MOST ECONOMICAL WAY ADDITIONAL ITEMS CAN BE COMBINED AND REFUND ANY EXTRA TO YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT.
This,

Please Note That The Following Shipping Information Pertains To Shipping Of All Of My Postcards, Photographs, Trade Cards, And All Other Paper Materials That Are Purchased:
Shipping:
ATTENTION:
1.For buyers to USA destinations:
a.
All my postcards are designated with a $.89 shipping charge which provides for packaging that consists of a flexible envelope 9 inches by 6 inches. This envelope will bend so that it can be machine cancelled. I package the postcard between two pieces of file folder weigh paper or other suitable flexible paper material. If you want to prevent possible bending or creasing of the postcard(s) during shipping, I can mail the postcard in a cardboard re-enforced envelope which help prevent the bending of the postcard. This will cost you a $
4.06
(increased) shipping rate.
This charge also includes tracking
. If you want your postcards shipped
using cardboard
, please request that immediately after you have a winning bid, and I will provide you with an invoice with a shipping charge of .06. I will also remind you on the invoice in the comments section of this option. I offer combined shipping, however, a flexible envelope can only contain up to 4-6 postcards, and still be considered flexible by the post office. For purchases of more than 6 postcards in one envelope, the envelope usually is not considered flexible and I therefore use cardboard and charge .06. If you prefer, I could instead use 2 flexible envelopes and charge you .89 for each envelope.
2. For buyers to international destinations:
a.
I invoice all of my postcards that are mailed to international addresses for a USPS shipping
charge of .24 (2 ounces or less) which provides for a flexible envelope that
WILL NOT PREVENT BENDING OR CREASING.
I package the postcard(s) between two
pieces of file folder weight paper or other suitable paper, to give very limited protection.
I offer
combined shipping to save on costs.
b. For buyers who want to
PREVENT POSSIBLE BENDING OR CREASING
of postcards, I will ship the postcard(s) between cardboard so as to prevent bending or
creasing of the postcard(s).
The USPS charges .00
for packages of up to 8 ounces. The US Post Office does not offer differentiated rates for lower weight packages as before.
I offer combined shipping.
If possible, depending on the amount of the total sale, I will try and assume part of the shipping cost. If you want your postcards shipped in this manner (using cardboard) please inform me immediately after your winning bid so that your invoice will reflect a .00 shipping charge.
c. VERY IMPORTANT: Envelopes that have 4 or 5 postcards or more postcards are sometimes too thick in one envelope for the USPS to accept as a ?letter? (flexible) and then charge the parcel rate (.00 as previously described for a cardboard reinforced envelope).
I am very willing to use more than one flexible envelope at .24 each to save you money. Therefore, for example, if a person buys 7 postcards, I would use 2 envelopes with 4 in one and 3 in the second envelope. The shipping charge would be .48.
ATTENTION:
If YOU HAVE WINNING BIDS ON MORE THAN ONE POSTCARD, PLEASE WAIT TO PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE MY INVOICE - I OFFER SOME COMBINED SHIPPING OPPORTUNITIES.
