    This incredible Authorized by Act of Congress Private Mailing Card May 19,1898 shows the Cake Walk (Negro Dance) No.1 . The postcard is by Frank Huld publisher, New York. Two African American couples are all dressed up in very fancy outfits doing the famous Cake Walk Dance. This is the first of a set of four which will all be listed. The postcard is postmarked with three different places: Reading,Pa. 1902, Lebanon,Pa. 1902, and Wyomissing,Pa. 1902
    The postcard appears to be in very good condition with minor rounded corners and dirt marks and dirt smudges. Upper left corner has some sl creases. Sl dings both lower corners as well See photos for condition. On the back of the postcard is the entire image of a well dressed African American man holding an umbrella.
