Antique Westinghouse 100 Amp Amperes DC Lunchbox Meter – Steampunk!
This lot consists of a very rare antique or near antique Westinghouse 100 Amp Amperes meter, cloth insulated leads and brass stint that I am guessing dates to the 1920s?
A friend of mine stated that it is a highly desirable lunchbox style that will display well in any collection.
I tried referencing the style model number 1158628 online and came up with no hits.
I was able to find similar 4” versions but no large 5-1/2” versions like this one.
It measures 5-1/2” high by 5-1/2” wide by 4” deep.
It appears to be in excellent condition but I do not have the means to test it.

VINTAGE L.E. KNOTTS APPARATUS COMPANY SLIDE WIRE WHEATSTONE BRIDGE RESISTOR BOX.
A WHEATSTONE BRIDGE IS AN ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT USED TO MEASURE AN UNKNOWN ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE BY BALANCING TWO LEGS OF A BRIDGE CIRCUIT.
MADE IN BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS OF COPPER, BRASS AND WOOD. MEASURES 24 ½" LONG AND 6 ¾" WIDE.  THE 50MM LONG SCALE IS GRADUATED IN MILLIMETERS AND IS MOUNTED TO A HARDWOOD BASE.  THE WOOD BASE HAS A VERY SLIGHT WARP.  TYPICAL SIGNS OF AGE WITH SOME LIGHT CORROSION ON THE COPPER.  THE SLIDE IS NO LONGER MOVABLE.
GREAT OLD ELECTRICAL APPARATUS.
