For your consideration is a Antique Elliott Bros London Scientific Instrument. I do not know what this instrument is. I know the company made a lot of marine/nautical instruments. Piece is marked "Legal OHM at 16* 2C No. 230 Elliott Bross London". The glass rod is not original and made in Japan, it is older and contains mercury. Measures 6-1/4" x 11" x 9".
