It is the BUYER’S responsibility to initiate this claim if necessary. A  very fine Chandelier Thermometer from Taylor Brothers, Rochester, NY c 1887-1890.
The body is nickel plated over brass and the thermometer plates are black oxide over
brass with crisp white lettering. On one plate edge it has Taylor Brothers, Rochester
N.Y. and the other plate has Patent date of Jan 12 1887. The thermometer is Taylor's
patented PERMACOLOR. It measures 8 inches from the top of the hanging ring to the
bottom finial. On the top and bottom are brass flower decorations. It has a chain to
hang it from your chandelier. It is in good condition consistent with its age of over 100
years old. The thermometer temperature reads accurately. A special treat for the
thermometer collector. A brief history of the Taylor company is included along with
a copy of the original advertisement for this nice Thermometer.
