Description

Antique Early 1900s WW1 era Chauvin and Arnoux Style Volts Meter. A wonderful found and preserved meter. The box measures 8 1/2 x 9 x3 and the meter measures 19" in circumference. The only thing I can see is that the strap is missing (please see picture number 11), there is a crack on the bottom plank (please see picture number 11), and the hinge has come off (please see picture number 4) but otherwise in great condition. Would make a wonderful show piece for a museum or private collector.
I also have for sale an Amperes meter from the same estate and it has a signed note by Major Joseph Matson, Coast Artillery Corps. The note states he rescued the Amperes meter in August 1919 from salvage and turned it over to the Coast Artillery School. This item is from the same estate.
Thank you
