This is an antique and rare set of three devices for electrostatic research and demonstration. Electrostatic hollow sphere (with metal base and glass column), cylinder & other one. Made during the end of XIX century. Continental. For experimental, didactic and pedagogical purposes. Excellent original condition.
A really museum set for demanding collectors.
Tall of sphere device is 43 centimeters. Diameter of sphere is 16 centimeters. Shipping costs via FedEx certified is $ 50 (worldwide - certified - with tracking code). Offered is a great looking old Kipps Apparatus Gas Generator from an estate
I think this would date back into the early 1900's era
The side spouts or openings are made with hand blown glass
they were applied in the manner of early blob top bottles or hand blown glassware
The top section looks like it can be removed from the bottom section
however the stopper and sections are stuck and I have not attempted to separate them
Overall it is approx. 15 1/4" tall, the bottom measures 5" across
It is an interesting and quite attractive looking antique Laboratory Lab Glass item
hopefully someone would like to add it to a collection or can put it to good use!...... Thanks for looking! ....
