Injected mount of “Appendix vermiformis” from a human adult. The slide is from the Victorian collection of Joseph Needham (See Bracegirdle plate 50, D) and is almost certainly by Hett. Nice, clean labels and the preparation itself is in excellent condition although there is a bubble and some movement within the cell.
