    Description

    1940s 1950s hat badge for Howard Van Lines.   3 inches across by 1 3/4 inches tall in size.  maker marked on the reverse side "HOOK-fAST pat. pend.".  Screwback with a threaded keeper.  There are also two sharp points on the reverse side to keep this cap ornament straight on the visor hat.  In 1957 Trans-Ocean Van Service bought Howard Van Lines and changed the name to Global Van Lines.
