About our business: I have been a full-time Dealer / Collector for 30+ years now and have great passion for collecting postcards, photographs and ephemera. I have acquired a wealth of knowledge during
these many years
allowing me to unearth rare and hard to find items as well as always being able to guarantee their authenticity as
vintage
and genuine. Each week I will be posting rare, unusual, high-quality and unique items for the advanced, intermediate and beginning collector. Our
items
are ALWAYS vintage and we will NEVER post reproduction pieces as has sadly become commonplace here on eBay. Please bookmark our store and I look forward to helping you build your collections!
Thank you for looking.
This auction is for a vintage early 1900's Black Americana Postcard that shows a little girl eating a piece of watermelon. Cute saying, "Disturbing the Piece". The postcard was postmarked in 1907 in Michigan. We are not experts but consider the postcard to be in fair condition. There is a light crease through the saying and it appears that something was spilled on the front side.
All our items are sold "as is". See all photos.
