This incredible 1902 Detroit Photographic Company shows a smiling African American boy seated on a wooden fence. The young man is wearing tattered clothes with what appears to be rips in both knees. The postcard is labeled 6471 Sunny Jim . The postcard is postmarked both Baltimore and Annapolis Maryland. The postcard was sent to a Professor F.E.Daniels ? 1526 Park Ave. Baltimore,Maryland. The postcard appears to be in good condition with minor rounded corners and dirt marks and dirt smudges. Sl creases at the corners.

Nice colorful postcards that I believe are Black Americana but hard to be sure as they appear dark skin but looks like their ethnicity was being minimized...
