    Description

Excellent microscope by Carl Zeiss of Jena from the late 19th century.
In very good condition except for the cracked mirror.
    In its original box
    Complete with condenser, diaphragm, etc.
(It occurs to me that the ability to fully collapse horizontally without losing balance at all, could be to, somehow, make projections ...)
Unusual and rare this is a set of Ross Mensuration Blocks Dissected Mathematical Solids, an early geometry mathematical teaching kit introduced by Columbia University in the late 1800’s early 1900’s. Over 50 wood and tin block formsused to calculate weight and mass. In its original red stained hand dovetailed crate measuring 18” by 11.5” by 10”. Has good Hinges and Original Iron Handle. Original labels inside and on various blocks. This is a rare and early teaching set. See photos.
