1878 Ashcroft Steam Engine Indicator "The Tabor" No. 7528. From an estate and I don't know anything about these except for the Ashcroft name. 12" tall. Well made and mechanically interesting.

Portable Gaiffe mercury turbine interrupter for a small X ray coil. It is self contained by having the impulse motor windings on top of the unit to rotate the turbine. There is a separate sets of turbine contacts inside the pot to drive the windings.
One gas cock is broken at its stem  and both pieces are there and can be repaired by a good jeweler and re threaded.
Very rare item and complete!
